Hey folks! It's time for that once every few months update! So much going on lately, but I know exactly where to begin.

This is, by far, the best job I have ever had. I've been working for Shannon Brunner for about two months now, and I absolutely love it. Most of my work is simple retouching and minor manipulations, but last month I was able to do something fantastic.

"Mother Nature" was probably the most fun I've had doing a photomanipulation and I got paid to do it. There is nothing more awesome in a person's working life than being paid to have fun.

It's the first time any artwork I've been involved with has actually won anything. I feel somehow vindicated, though the photography was not my own, the work I put into the photos I was given really transformed the piece from what it was originally.

I also created a second piece, which received a slightly lower mark, but this one is my favourite anyway, so it's the only one I will post right now.

I have however been given permission to post some of my work for her in my portfolio, so expect more images to be coming soon.

In other news, I also got to shoot my first wedding last month. (Well, the first for strangers at least.) I will be posting some of the better images from that as well, once I can get the model appropriate model releases.

All in all, life is great and I'm really making some progress in my art. My annual halloween photoshoot extravanganza is coming up soon, so photos from that should be following soon as well.
